If your rental is in a country outside of Turkey, you may be required to present an international driver's license in order to pick up the vehicle. This requirement may vary depending on the country of rental. To avoid any issues, we strongly recommend confirming the international driver's license requirement before picking up your vehicle.

Payment Information

During your online reservation, you can use any bank or credit card. If your booking includes additional products, these fees will be collected at the office. A credit card issued in your name is required for the deposit. Some suppliers may require two credit cards for certain vehicle categories.

Please note: For rentals outside Turkey, if you purchase any additional services at pick-up (e.g. insurance or vehicle upgrade), airport taxes and local fees will be recalculated and added to the total amount. Therefore, please be aware that selecting extra services may result in additional charges.

Border Policy

The scope of your cross-border travels with your rental car may vary depending on the supplier company, but the majority of suppliers do not allow you to take the rental car out of the country. You can review the supplier agreements for detailed information.

If you are planning to cross borders, you must inform the rental office about this before picking up the vehicle (preferably at least 48 hours in advance). You must also provide the name of the country, state, or island you intend to travel to, so it can be shared with our supplier.

Insurance and Coverage

The vehicle you have rented is insured under the compulsory traffic insurance provided by the car rental company. You can review details such as the scope of insurance and damage excess (deductible), if any, from the rental agreement delivered to you; if you wish, you can also obtain information from the company representatives during vehicle delivery. In the event of a possible accident, it is crucial that the necessary documents (e.g., accident report, alcohol report, and third-party information) are prepared completely for the process to proceed smoothly. We would like to state that no action can be taken without these documents, and the repair process cannot be initiated solely based on the driver's declaration. Our guests who want further coverage can obtain information about additional protection packages through the rental company and easily choose the protection that best suits their needs.

Important Information

It is mandatory for the guest coming to pick up the vehicle to have a new ID and driver's license, and to carry and present a credit card in their own name that displays their first name, last name, and card number; otherwise, the vehicle will not be provided. When picking up the vehicle, the company will perform a Findeks credit check. A minimum Findeks score of 1300 or above is required. If the vehicle is returned earlier than the scheduled return date, the amount to be refunded does not cover the total rental period. The cost for the days the vehicle was used by the guest is deducted from the total rental fee, and the amount for the unused days is refunded. This amount is calculated based on the car rental rate on the relevant date. Rental conditions other than the headings specified above will be notified to you by the Europcar representative during vehicle delivery in a way that will be submitted for your signature. Please do not forget to read the document presented to you before taking delivery of the vehicle.

Fuel Policy

When you pick up your vehicle, the fuel level should be the same as when you return it. Please check the fuel amount when you receive the car. If the fuel is less when you return the vehicle, you will be charged both a refueling fee and the cost of the missing fuel (based on the current market price per liter).
