When picking up the vehicle, you must have your ID, driver's license, and a credit card issued in your name to collect the deposit fee.

If your rental is in a country outside of Turkey, you may be required to present an international driver's license in order to pick up the vehicle. This requirement may vary depending on the country of rental. To avoid any issues, we strongly recommend confirming the international driver's license requirement before picking up your vehicle.

Payment Information

During your online reservation, you can use any bank or credit card. If your booking includes additional products, these fees will be collected at the office. A credit card issued in your name is required for the deposit. Some suppliers may require two credit cards for certain vehicle categories.

Please note: For rentals outside Turkey, if you purchase any additional services at pick-up (e.g. insurance or vehicle upgrade), airport taxes and local fees will be recalculated and added to the total amount. Therefore, please be aware that selecting extra services may result in additional charges.

Border Policy

The scope of your cross-border travels with your rental car may vary depending on the supplier company, but the majority of suppliers do not allow you to take the rental car out of the country. You can review the supplier agreements for detailed information.

If you are planning to cross borders, you must inform the rental office about this before picking up the vehicle (preferably at least 48 hours in advance). You must also provide the name of the country, state, or island you intend to travel to, so it can be shared with our supplier.

Insurance and Coverage

The vehicle you rent is covered by the compulsory traffic insurance provided by the car rental company. You can review the details such as insurance scope and damage deductible (if any) in the rental agreement handed to you, or request information from company representatives during vehicle delivery.

In the event of a possible accident, it is essential that the necessary documents (e.g., accident report, alcohol test report, and third-party details) are prepared completely for the process to proceed smoothly. Please note that no transactions can be processed without these documents and repair procedures cannot be initiated solely based on driver declaration.

Guests who desire further coverage can obtain information about additional insurance packages from the rental company and easily select the protection that best suits their needs.

Important Information

Rental conditions other than those specified above will be presented for your signature by the ERC FİLO representative during vehicle delivery. Please do not forget to read the document presented to you before receiving the vehicle.

Fuel Policy

When you pick up your vehicle, the fuel level should be the same as when you return it. Please check the fuel amount when you receive the car. If the fuel is less when you return the vehicle, you will be charged both a refueling fee and the cost of the missing fuel (based on the current market price per liter).
