When picking up the vehicle, you must have your ID, driver's license, and a credit card issued in your name to collect the deposit fee.

If your rental is in a country outside of Turkey, you may be required to present an international driver's license in order to pick up the vehicle. This requirement may vary depending on the country of rental. To avoid any issues, we strongly recommend confirming the international driver's license requirement before picking up your vehicle.

Payment Information

During your online reservation, you can use any bank or credit card. If your booking includes additional products, these fees will be collected at the office. A credit card issued in your name is required for the deposit. Some suppliers may require two credit cards for certain vehicle categories.

Please note: For rentals outside Turkey, if you purchase any additional services at pick-up (e.g. insurance or vehicle upgrade), airport taxes and local fees will be recalculated and added to the total amount. Therefore, please be aware that selecting extra services may result in additional charges.

Border Policy

The scope of your cross-border travels with your rental car may vary depending on the supplier company, but the majority of suppliers do not allow you to take the rental car out of the country. You can review the supplier agreements for detailed information.

If you are planning to cross borders, you must inform the rental office about this before picking up the vehicle (preferably at least 48 hours in advance). You must also provide the name of the country, state, or island you intend to travel to, so it can be shared with our supplier.

Insurance and Coverage

The rented vehicle is insured under the compulsory traffic insurance provided by the rental company. You may review details such as insurance coverage and any damage waiver in the rental agreement provided to you. You may also request information from company representatives during vehicle pick-up.

In the event of an accident, it is important that all required documents (such as accident report, alcohol report, and third-party information) are fully completed to ensure a smooth process. Without these documents, no claim can be processed, and repairs cannot be initiated based solely on the driver’s statement.

Guests seeking additional protection may request information about extra coverage packages through the rental company and easily choose the protection that best suits their needs.

Important Information

Rental conditions other than those listed above will be presented to you for signature by a BERA representative at the time of vehicle delivery. Please make sure to read the document provided to you before accepting the vehicle.

Fuel Policy

When you pick up your vehicle, the fuel level should be the same as when you return it. Please check the fuel amount when you receive the car. If the fuel is less when you return the vehicle, you will be charged both a refueling fee and the cost of the missing fuel (based on the current market price per liter).
